Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an American author of cookery books as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002, has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began working at the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy as well as the budget. While she initially found the work interesting and stimulating, she soon became bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then purchased. The store was a success for 18 years. the store extremely successful prior to selling it and grabbing a pen to write her first book. Others followed, and so were magazine articles. Meanwhile the Food Network show was also a success. She also sells a range of items ranging from cooking materials to storage and equipment. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. She is known for her straightforward approach to cooking and effortless entertaining. Some of her best known recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
