Luciana Paoluzzi was born Rome and raised in Rome by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, who was an Italian soldier in the Army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. She does not have any known siblings. Luciana attended the local high school and after graduating in 1955 she studied Naval Engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan. It was her only female in the class. In two years, she began her modelling career. Shortly after that she was offered the chance to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain while in Rome visiting a close family friend of her father. Brett Halsey - an actor who was her first partner. They made Return to the Peyton Palace in the year 1960, after having married. Luciana and Charles had a son who was called Charles on 13th June 1961. The couple separated a year following his birth. Luciana then gained custody. Luciana was in a relationship with Tony Athony from 1962 between 1962 and the year 1970. He is an actor/producer who had the idea to create and write The Spaghetti Western hybrid based on her character as Green Slime.
