Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and acrobat. The most famous of her characters can be Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, the comedy television show. She is primarily a musician. At the age of 9 older, she started playing around with music. At the age of 12, her music took more serious form and she started training professionally. When she was 13, she started writing songs. The first time she recorded an album when she was 14. From that moment on, she has not looked back. Orrantia is a native American and has Hispanic roots. She is a native of Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English as a child and spent her entire life in the United States. To preserve her heritage, she's learned Spanish and created songs using the language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish that she has recorded, is a good example. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut season of The X Factor. Orrantia was selected out of an YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" votes from the judges during the live audition phase at Seattle, Washington. She originally auditioned solo, however, during "Hollywood Week" she was placed along with three female vocalists in a trio for the remaining auditions. They were eliminated from the program during the fifth live week.
